	Recorded live to air on Radio Massey in June 1998, this was only just captured on tape by the astute Bongo Bunny. Tapes, ocarina, guitar and bass played by Noctuary (who has a solo 8" on Headshy) and Pht. Edition of 52 - some left
Birchville Cat Motel	Grey Wolves Gather / Blue Jewel Drift 7"	07 cones
	Wellington's Campbell Kneale out on his own leaving us all standing in wonder at his karaoke microphone antics which do of course end up sounding like something entirely more meaningful. Edition of 103 - some left This record is intended to be played at 33.333rpm.
Parched	S/T Double LP	06 cones
	We went with the "release everything" theory on this one. A jam and two live performances from the combined forces of Bongo Bunny and Pht - everything that they've played in the same room together. You be the quality controller. Instruments involved are guitar and bass. Edition of 52 with hand painted covers - some left
Lugosi	Yellow #5 Aluminium Lake / Mica 7"	05 cones
	Beautifully understated layers of pulse and drone, backed with a less sumptuous track reminiscent of a wintery sunday afternoon in front of the heater. Lugosi is a four-piece on this occassion, who hail from Wellington and include Birchville Cat Motel's Campbell Kneale. Edition of 104 - some left I always swore I'd never release a record without putting the speed on it. Some hope - the Lugosi 7" is intended to be played at 33.333rpm.
Bongo Bunny	S/T LP	04 cones
	Six beautiful tracks of drone, noise and manipulated metal. Fantastic debut. First edition of 62 with hand painted covers - some left.
She Camel of God	Consequences LP	03 cones
	Twenty minutes of drone and noise from three basses feeding back, then another twenty of duet bass bash and hum for good measure. Three tracks in all. First edition of 26 - out of print, aiming to repress some time
Willow	The Clear Lakes / Falling Through 7"	02 cones
	Debut release from a Palmerston North import from Hawkes Bay who's now resident in Dunedin. Beautiful low-key solo guitar pieces. First edition of 28 - out of print Second edition of 22 - out of print. Looks like we have to repress again some time
Schawami	The Great Southern Dogfight / Mycelium Skysong 8"	01 cone
	Secret Safari intended to debut in '97, but the covers for this took over 6 months to handpaint, so it surfaced in May '98. Solo recordings with sparse guitar cutting through didgeridoo drone on the first track, then going it alone on recordings taken from a solo live to air broadcast. First edition of 27 with hand painted covers - out of print Second edition of 37 with b/w cover- some in stock

NEWS AND RUMOURS

2000 and 2001 have seen Secret Safari do absolutely nothing so far except move HQ from New Zealand to Australia which has taken a bit of settling in and a lot of getting used to other distractions. We're still planning full length posthumous releases by She Camel of God and Half (which includes solo artists Willow and Bongo Bunny).

We also hope to get organised enough to release an album by young ex-Hamilton now-Wellington trio Negative Eh, and maybe even a release by Pht, but don't hold your breath for that one.
